2. Scope of Services

Artysta Security provides:

• Supply and installation of security alarm systems (e.g. AJAX)
• CCTV systems and video surveillance equipment
• Maintenance, servicing, and support of installed systems
• Temporary system hire for events, festivals, or pop-ups
• Security consultations and risk assessments

3. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• Prices are in EUR (€) and subject to 19% German VAT unless exempt.
• Installation pricing is based on standard working hours. Extra charges may apply for night/weekend work or non-standard access conditions.

4. Ordering and Payment

• Orders must be confirmed in writing or via email.
• A 50% deposit may be required before work begins. Final payment is due within 7 days of completion unless otherwise agreed.
• Ownership of all goods remains with Artysta Security until full payment has been received.

5. Installation and Access

• Clients are responsible for providing safe and uninterrupted access to the premises for installation.
• Any delay caused by restricted access or unprepared sites may incur additional charges.
• Artysta Security is not liable for issues caused by existing infrastructure, poor internet connectivity, or third-party systems.

6. System Handover and User Responsibility

• After installation, a system handover will be completed, including user training.
• Clients are responsible for managing users, passwords, and access rights on their systems.
• It is the client's responsibility to ensure the system is used in accordance with German and EU privacy laws, especially when using CCTV.

7. Data Protection and CCTV Compliance

• Artysta Security will assist clients with GDPR and BDSG compliance in the design and installation of CCTV systems.
• Final responsibility for lawful use, signage, data access, and footage retention lies with the client.
• Artysta Security does not monitor or store any client CCTV footage or alarm activity unless explicitly agreed in writing.

8. Warranty and Support

• AJAX systems and other products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty (typically 2–3 years).
• Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months.
• Warranty claims may be void if systems are tampered with or modified by third parties.

9. Maintenance and Monitoring

• Regular system servicing is recommended but not included unless specified in your agreement.
• Artysta Security does not provide 24/7 alarm monitoring directly but can assist with connection to a third-party Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

10. Limitation of Liability

Artysta Security is not liable for:

• Any loss or damage resulting from system failure, interruption, or false alarms.
• Incidents resulting from misuse, poor maintenance, or client error.
• Consequential or indirect losses including loss of business, income, or data.

11. Event Hire and Temporary Systems

Clients hiring temporary systems (e.g. for events or pop-ups) are responsible for:

• Site security and storage of equipment during the rental period
• Providing adequate power supply and mobile network coverage
• Returning the equipment in original condition

12. Cancellation

• Orders cancelled with less than 5 working days' notice before agreed installation may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the total invoice amount.
• Custom-ordered equipment is non-refundable once purchased unless faulty.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by German law.
• Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, unless otherwise agreed.
• If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining clauses remain in full effect.

14. Changes to Terms

Artysta Security reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of order shall apply.
